Description
Compatible with mil-spec carbine receiver extensions, commercial-spec receiver extensions, and all Phase 5 Pistol Buffer Tubes on nearly all AR15/M4/.308 AR Variant lower receivers. Lightweight and sturdy 7075-T6 billet aluminum construction is about 80% stronger than 6061-T6 aluminum.
- Uses a standard AR15/M4 carbine Lower receiver extension castle nut (not included).
- Accepts all push button QD swivels and QD slings.
- QD mount is at a 30 Degree angle from the lower receiver to allow a 360 Degree rotation for ambidextrous use.
- Lighter than the standard stamped steel receiver extension end plate (0.39 oz. vs 0.48 oz.)

This is one of the coolest little parts on my rifle. The design is perfect. It puts the QD at an angle so it has range of movement. Well with the money.

Besides giving a very nice accent to my rifles’ finish (DPMS .308), the angle of the CD makes changing hands glitch free. My single point bungee sling passes under the butt stock with no issues. One more minor hangup in my life taken care of. As always YMMV ;-)

Any end plate would fulfill it’s intended purpose adequately enough. This one happens to do two things. The grey adds a cool contrast and overlaps the castle nut but not enough to interfere with the wrench.
